India’s no.1 affordable smartphone maker Xiaomi unveiled the JioPhone2 Challenger new feature phones called Qin1 and Qin1s. Xiaomi has introduced the new feature phones under the Youpin crowdfunding platform.

Unlike other feature phones in the market like JioPhone and JioPhone2, Xiaomi’s Qin1 and Qin1s has some advanced features, such as real-time voice translation support that is assisted by artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning. This feature supports 17 languages for machine learning-based voice translations while there is also a built-in IR blaster to transform universal remote which can be used for controlling your television sets, air-conditioners, and other home devices.

Xiaomi Qin1 Specifications

The Xiaomi Qin1 runs on the Nucleus operating system and it has a 2.8-inch QVGA IPS display with a resolution of 240×320 pixels. This feature phone is powered by a dual-core MediaTek MT6260A processor and got 8MB of RAM equipped with 16MB of internal storage.

The phone has a battery capacity of 1480mAh and Xiaomi claimed it will deliver 15 days of standby time. General connectivity options include 3G, Bluetooth v4.2, Wi-Fi, and USB Type-C port, however, there is no 3.5 mm jack.

Xiaomi Qin1s Specifications

Xiaomi Qin1s is a 4G VoLTE model runs on Android-based MOCOR5. The Xiaomi Qin1s features 2.8-inch QVGA IPS display with 240×320 pixels resolutions and it is powered by the dual-core Spreadtrum SC9820E processor. This feature phone has 256MB of RAM coupled with 512MB of inbuilt storage. The phone also has 1480 mAh battery with general connectivity features including 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS, and USB Type-C and headphone jack.

Xiaomi Qin1 and Qin1s Price

The price of the both Xiaomi Qin1 and Qin1s starts at CNY 199 (Rs. 1,990 approximately) and are currently on pre-orders via Youpin in China from September 15. Both Qin1 and Qin1s will be available in Black and White color options for the buyers.
