Xiaomi is set to launch new Mi CC series smartphones on July 2 in China and the specifications of the Mi CC9 and Mi CC9e were just leaked earlier. The upcoming Xiaomi Mi CC9 is rumored to have three options, and the one featuring 8GB RAM with 256GB of storage will be the premium variant. Now, Xiaomi’s CEO Lei Jun has shared a pair of images revealing the Dark Blue Planet variant of the Mi CC9.
As per the render shared by the Lei Jun, the upcoming Mi CC9 will launch in Dark Blue Planet color variant which looks similar to the Realme 3 Pro’ gradient design. The render also shows that the handset will come with a triple rear camera system and a LED flash on the back as well.
In a separate post, the storage and color variants of the upcoming Xiaomi Mi CC9e have also leaked. As per the report, the Mi CC9e will be announced in 4GB RAM + 64GB storage, 4GB RAM + 128GB storage, 6GB RAM + 64GB storage, 6GB RAM + 128GB storage, and in White, Blue Planet and Night Prince colour models.
Xiaomi Mi CC9e Specifications
The Mi CC9 series has been in the news from some time now, mostly because of the company’s CEO’ tweets. The Xiaomi Mi CC9e is equipped with a 5.97-inch AMOLED panel that has a 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC.
The camera unit on the Xiaomi Mi CC9e is vertically aligned in the top-left corner with a single LED flash. As mentioned, the device comes with a 48-megapixel Sony IMX582 as the primary sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor and the third lens of 5-megapixel. On the front, the Mi CC9e sports a 32-megapixel shooter that comes with AI-based algorithms for face beautification and portrait mode. It is backed by a 3500mAh battery with 18W fast charging through USB-C.

In terms of hardware specifications, the Xiaomi Mi CC9 is expected to feature a 6.39-inch AMOLED full HD+ resolution display. It comes with a 32-megapixel selfie camera planted inside the font notch. On the rear side, the device might feature a triple camera setup that comprises of 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 primary lens, a 16-megapixel secondary lens, and a 12-megapixel third sensor. On the software front, this phone will also run MIUI 10 based Android 9 Pie.
Sources claim that the Xiaomi Mi CC9 will be powered by Snapdragon 730 processor, all powered by a 4000mAh battery with 27W fast charging recharged via USB-C that should provide all-day battery life.
