Days ahead of its official launch, the battery capacity and the design of the Xiaomi Redmi Y3 has officially been confirmed through a teaser. The teaser that is not longer than a minute gives a glimpse of the Redmi Y3 battery that lasts more than a day. Last week, Xiaomi confirmed the launch schedule of the new Redmi Y3. The launch event will take place in India on April 24. The handset will be the successor to last year’s Redmi Y2 that debuted with great camera setup and 4000mAh battery.
The company’s Twitter handle also posted another teaser image that partially shows the smartphone. The phone appears to be covered in glass which curves towards the frame and has a blue gradient color. This is a different color variant from the one on the Amazon India page which has a pink gradient finish. There is also a black variant.

It could use Samsung’s GD1 32-megapixel sensor for the front camera setup, which offers HDR enhancement. It is expected to feature the same dual rear camera setup of 12-megapixel + 2-megapixel used on the Redmi Note 7.
