Chinese smartphone company Xiaomi just launched a new variant of the Redmi Note 9 Pro today in India. The brand introduced two variants of the Redmi Note 9 Pro back in March. The smartphone arrived previously with 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB configurations. The latest model to join the lineup has a 4GB + 128GB setup.
Redmi Note 9 Pro new variant with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at 15,999 and it will go on sale today at 12 noon on Amazon India and Mi.com. The smartphone is available in three color options including Aurora Blue, Glacier White, and Interstellar Black.
In a separate post, Redmi Note 9 Pro Max’s 8GB RAM variant is all set to go on its first sale in India on July 29 at 12 PM. It is priced at Rs 19,999.

Redmi Note 9 Pro flaunts a 6.67-inch Full HD+ (1080×2400 pixels) display and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The smartphone draws power from an octa-core Snapdragon 720G SoC with up to 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 128GB of onboard storage. The storage is further expandable up to 512GB via microSD card.
In the camera department, it has a quad-camera setup consisting of a 48-megapixel primary lens, 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, 5-megapixel macro sensor, and 2-megapixel depth sensor. Upfront, you get a 16-megapixel in-display selfie shooter.
The phone ships with Android 10-based MIUI 11 out of the box and backed by a 5020mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging.
