Xiaomi’s upcoming mid-range smartphone, the Redmi Note 9 Pro, has been leaked only once in the past. And today we bring you one more leak of the device. Now, the Redmi Note 9 Pro has been spotted in the GeekBench database. It basically confirms the chipset inside as well as the amount of RAM and the OS.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro Spotted on Geekbench
Going by the Geekbench result, the new Redmi Note 9 Pro will hit the market with the motherboard of the device is codenamed “curtana” and it might be Snapdragon 720G. It is an eight-core SoC processor with a frequency setting of 1.80GHz. The model subject to the Geekbench test has 6GB of RAM. We don’t know yet if there are other variants.
The device achieved a score of 569 in the single-core test and 1755 in the multi-core Geekbench test. To recall, the competitor Realme 6 Pro with model number RMX2061 was spotted on Geekbench earlier with 8GB of RAM. It only scored 1,696 in the multi-core test.
We also have information about the Redmi Note 9 Pro software. According to Geekbench, it will ship with Android 10 OS with MIUI skin on the top.
