Xiaomi Redmi K30 Launched with 5G, 120Hz Display, Snapdragon 765 SoC, 64MP Camera and More

Xiaomi Redmi K30 is here. Unlike the predecessor Redmi K20, the all-new Redmi K30 comes with an all-new design and includes an upgraded list of specifications. It features a dual-selfie camera hole-punch display design and an quad rear camera setup. Read on to know everything about the new Redmi K30 smartphone.

Xiaomi Redmi K30 Specifications

The Redmi K30 boasts a 6.67-inch display with 120Hz refresh rate. The display has a dual hole-punch design, curved edges. The full-HD+ 1080×2400 pixels resolution screen has 20:9 aspect ratio. The phone also sports a frosted AG glass back. Both the front and back of the device is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It offers a 12-antenna design and includes dual-frequency GPS support.

The device gets juice from Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 765 SoC, which supports 5G. The company already confirmed the Redmi K30 4G variant. Talking about the configurations, it will be available in 6GB/64GB, 8GB/128GB, and 12GB RAM/256GB storage variants. On the software side, the handset runs Android 10-based MIUI 11 out-of-the-box. Powering the phone is a 4,500mAh battery that supports 30W fast charging tech.

In the camera department, the quad-camera setup includes a 64-megapixel Sony IMX686 sensor, a 2-megapixel camera, a 5-megapixel sensor, and an 8-megapixel camera. The dual selfie cameras on the front comprises of a 20-megapixel and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The smartphone also comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor as well as a USB Type-C port.

Xiaomi Redmi K30 Price

The Redmi K30 price in China starts at 1,999 Yuan (approx. Rs 20,140) for the base variant with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage. The 8GB + 128GB variant is priced at 2,299 Yuan (approx. Rs 23,160), while the 12GB + 256GB model 2599 Yuan (roughly. Rs 26,189).

As we mentioned before, the company will be selling the Redmi K30 4G variant for 1,599 Yuan (approx. Rs 16,100). The phone will be available for buyers in four color options.

Even though there is no word on the India launch of the Redmi K30, the company is likely to launch it very soon.
