| By DWR Editor

Xiaomi Redmi 9A is set to launch in India soon. The Chinese brand launched the Xiaomi Redmi 8A last year. It seems the company is now preparing to bring the successor of Redmi 8A smartphone to India.

The listing for these devices on BIS certification were first spotted by MySmartPrice. The listing reveals that the device is manufactured/assembled or imported from DBG Technology in Reawari, Haryana, India.

Also, Xiaomi Redmi 9A has been listed on SIRIM’s database recently under three models for various regions, M2006C3LC (China), M2006C3LI (India), and M2006C3LG (Global). The listing reveals that the Redmi 9A has single-band Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth, and two SIM card slots.

At this moment, we don’t know about the exact launch date and the price of the Redmi 9A. None of the certifications reveal the details like specifications, features and we’ll have to wait for further leaks leading up to the launch to learn more about the Redmi 9A.

Going by the earlier leaks and rumors, the Redmi 9A will ship with a 4000mAh battery that supports 10W standard charger included in the box. Although, it will have support for up to 18W fast charging. On the software front, the handset is tipped to run on Android 10-based MIUI 12 skin.
