Xiaomi Redmi 7A India Launch Set for July 4

Xiaomi has confirmed the launch of its upcoming Redmi 7A smartphone on July 4th in India. Manu Kumar Jain’s official Twitter account today revealed that it is set to launch the Redmi 7A in India on July 4. The Redmi 7A, just like its other siblings, will be online exclusive available only on Flipkart and Mi.com.

Redmi 7A Specifications (Expected)

Coming to the specifications, the Redmi 7A will boast an IPS LCD display with an 18:9 aspect ratio that supports HD+ (720×1440 pixels) resolution. The handset is said to be driven by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 mobile platform.

The rear camera is said to have a 13-megapixel sensor along with an LED flash. The Redmi 7A is rumored to have a 5-megapixel camera sensor at the front and come with a massive, 4,000mAh battery which supports 10W charging.

On the software front, Redmi 7A runs MIUI 10 OS based on Android Pie operating system. Connectivity options include dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, a micro USB port and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The smartphone is rumored to launch in India in three variants – 2GB RAM + 16GB storage, 2GB RAM + 32GB storage, and 3GB RAM + 32GB storage.

Redmi 7A Price In India (Expected)

Meanwhile, it has been tipped that the Redmi 7A could be priced under Rs 6,000 in India. To recall, Xiaomi Redmi 7A launched in China last month, with a price starting price of CNY 549 (approx. Rs. 5,500) in China for the 2GB + 16GB variant. The 2GB + 32GB variant will retail at CNY 599 (approx. Rs. 6,000). It is available in Matte Black and Blue color variants.
