Xiaomi already confirmed that it will be launching the Redmi K20 series smartphones in India very soon. The K20 series was already launched in China earlier. In the middle of this, a new leak surfaced online that Xiaomi is also working on another Redmi smartphone which may be the Redmi 7 Pro.
Redmi 7 Pro will be the successor to the Redmi 6 Pro which was launched in last year. It is also expected it may be slightly upgraded variant of Redmi 6 Pro in comparison of specifications and design.
According to the new leak report, A Redmi smartphone is spotted on China’s 3C authority which could be the Redmi 7 Pro. The 3C website also revealed the model number of the device as M1906F9SC and comes with a 10W charger. The upgraded variant of Redmi 6 Pro is also expected to come with a budget-friendly price tag.
Redmi 6 Pro was launched last year in two variants 3GB RAM/32GB and 4GB/64GB. The 3GB RAM + 32GB variant was launched at a price of Rs.10,999 is now available for Rs.8,999. On the other hand, the 4GB RAM + 64GB variant which was launched at Rs.12,999 is now available at Rs.9,999.
To talk about the specifications, Redmi 6 Pro is featured with a 5.84-inch display with 1080 x 2280 pixels resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by a Snapdragon 624 processor and backed by a massive 4000mAh battery with longer battery life.
It sports a dual camera setup of a 12MP primary camera and a 5MP camera on the back. For selfies, it has a 5MP camera with AI portrait mode. We can expect that the upcoming Redmi 7 Pro to come with the upgraded features comparing with the Redmi 6 Pro. We should wait for the official reveal to know more about the specifications and launch of this smartphone in the market.
