Xiaomi, The Chinese mobile maker which is all set to launch its new Redmi 6 pro flagship within a couple of days.All of sudden there is a fresh leak of the device where Xiaomi took to its official Weibo account to disclose a full-blown press release images of the Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro before launch. The Redmi 6 Pro will come in five colors – Rose Gold, Sand Gold, Lake Blue, Black and Flame Red.
As we already know that Redmi 6 Pro in line with the Huawei P20 Lite, Nokia X6, and OnePlus 6 that all include the feature to hide the notch design by bringing a virtual bezel to the top of the display panel. Redmi 6 Pro will come with an option to hide its display notch. This will be of great help for users who don’t want to have the iPhone X-like notch on their device. You might feel quite strange to see the unboxing of the device before its launch. This may create curiosity to know more about the device by the company as the company itself leaked the video.
In addition to the teaser, the official Redmi Weibo account has shared a post by Chinese news site IT168, confirming the authenticity of photos showing the unboxing of the Redmi 6 Pro. The photos show the handset live, alongside a clear TPU case, travel adapter, and a USB cable. The handset featured in the photos comes in a Rose Gold color option and has a metal-finish back panel. Moreover, the design of the Redmi model appears to be quite similar to the Redmi Note 5 Pro that was launched in India back in February.
Xiaomi Redmi 6 pro is an improved version of Redmi 6 which was released some time ago. The product will be available in 3GB+32GB and 4GB+64GB configurations will come with price tag of CNY 999 (approximately Rs. 10,400) which almost an affordable one. The unboxing image from the Chinese website has revealed that the device will have a dedicated microSD card slot. On to the front, it has a 19:9 notch display, making it the first Redmi device to feature a notch and the second device from Xiaomi with a notch after the Mi 8 series.
It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with MIUI 9 skinned on top and features a 5.84-inch full HD+ 2.5D curved glass display with a resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19:9.
The device is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC coupled with Adreno 506 GPU. The device is fuelled with 4,000mAh battery under the hood.
Coming to the photo snappers, the Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro will feature a dual camera setup similar to the Redmi 6, featuring a 12MP Sony IMX486 sensor with 1.25um pixel size, f/2.2 aperture, phase detection autofocus, LED flash and a secondary 5MP Samsung S5K5E8 sensor with f/2.2 aperture and 1.12um pixel size. On the front, the device will sport a 5MP selfie camera.
