Soon after an interview with Poco India Manager who revealed the company is going to bring anew Poco phone, a smartphone named Poco F2 which is the Successor of Poco F1 is flooded on the internet. For unaware, The Poco F1 armoured edition is gone up in sale available in lead e-commerce sites started on Dec 26.
Coming to the details, A smartphone named “Poco F2” is spotted on Geekbench listing. Xioami is likely working on a successor to its popular affordable flagship phone. In the listing of a new smartphone, it revealed Key specs of the smartphone on its CPU, RAM and OS.
If my guess is right you may think the smartphone could be armed by powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 and should be offered one to this. But sadly the company is stick to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 coupled by a 6 GB of RAM. These details are similar to the Poco F1 which features same chipset and RAM. On the software, The smartphone could be preloaded with Android 9 Pie OS.
In the single-core benchmarking test of Geekbench, the handset recorded a score of 2321. In the multi-core test, it has scored 7564. As you can see there are not many internal details and specifications of the upcoming smartphone differ from its predecessor. We hope that the Poco F2 would come with improvements in other departments such as a display, camera and battery. The first POCOphone has received quite a number of negative comments regarding the quality of the body.
The Poco F1 features a wide notch that houses a 20-megapixel selfie shooter and an IR sensor for dim-light facial recognition. So it is speculated that the upcoming phone could come with bezel-less design and improved display with the small notch(perhaps water drop).
