Xiaomi appears to take control over the flagship phones by its new Poco F1 smartphone. From past few years, none of the Xiaomi’s flagship phones are successful and they were lagged behind the competition with other rivals. The brand has played on a similar thought of conveying top of the line specifications with an aggressive price tag. Now the company’s Poco F1 is all set to compete with OnePlus 6 and Asus Zenfone 5Z and Honor Play.

So here is the quick comparison between Xiaomi Poco F1, OnePlus 6, Asus Zenfone 5Z and Honor Play.

Display

The Poco F1 comes with a 6.18-inch display and is protected by a 2.D curved Gorilla Glass 3 glass. OnePlus 6 sports a 6.28-inch full-HD+ (1080×2280 pixels) Full Optic AMOLED display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. The Asus Zenfone 5Z features 6.2-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD display with an aspect ratio of 18.7:9. Coming to the Honor Play, it comes with a 6.3 inches IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1080×2340 pixels. All of these four phones ships with a notch which houses the earpiece, proximity sensor, notification light, and the frontal imaging unit.

Camera

A camera is the main thing we should consider in today’s generation. These all smartphones features a dual-camera setup on the rear side and a single high-resolution camera up front. The Xiaomi Poco F1 features a 12-megapixel primary sensor with AI and 5-megapixel secondary sensor for depth-effect shots. On the front, the Poco F1 equipped with a 20-megapixel camera. The OnePlus 6 features a 16-megapixel primary sensor and 20-megapixel secondary sensor at the rear, along with a 16-megapixel front camera. The rear camera setup enables depth effects as well as allows 2X lossless zoom. You also get OIS on the primary sensor, along with slow-motion video recording at up to 480fps. The Asus Zenfone 5Z sports a 12-megapixel and 8-megapixel rear camera setup, besides an 8-megapixel front camera. The Honor Play acquired by a 16-megapixel and 2-megapixel rear camera setup, and a 16-megapixel front camera.

Processor

The Xiaomi Poco F1, OnePlus 6 and Asus Zenfone 5Z runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, while the Honor Play is powered by the HiSilicon Kirin 970 chipset and a Mali-G72 MP12 GPU. The Poco F1 comes with a LiquidCool technology. The OnePlus 6 and Zenfone 5Z has Andreno 630 GPU.

RAM and Storage 

The Poco F1, OnePlus 6, Asus Zenfone 5Z equipped with 64GB/ 128GB/ 256GB inbuilt storage options and up to 8 GB RAM variants one with 6 GB and another one with 8 GB. While the Poco F1 and Zenfone 5Z has a slot for microSD card to expand the storage, the OnePlus has no slot for SD card. The Honor Play has only 4 GB and 6 GB RAM variants and on the inbuilt storage, it comes with 64 GB storage only which can be expanded through the SD card.

Battery and Charging 

Xiaomi’s Poco F1 sports massive 4,000mAh battery which is biggest one compared to other smartphones in this list. The Poco F1 comes with a QuickCharge 3.0 support. Coming to the OnePlus 6, the device has a 3,300 mAh battery which is quite low but the OnePlus 6 features Dash Charge facility which can charge the phone up to 60% just in 30 minutes of charge. The Asus Zenfone 5Z features 5000 mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 while the Honor Play has a 3,750mAh battery. The Honor Play also supports fast-charging technology and takes around 90 minutes to fully charge the device from 0 to 100% with the box-included fast charger. All four phones use USB Type-C ports.

Android OS 

The Poco F1 runs on MIUI custom OS designed by Xiaomi which is based on Android 8.1 Oreo. The OnePlus 6 is powered by the OxygenOS 5.1.9 based on Android 8.0 Oreo. Asus ZenFone 5Z runs on the ZenUI 5.0 based on Android 8.0 Oreo. While the Honor Play runs on the custom EMUI based on Android 8.1 Oreo.

Price

The 6GB RAM/ 64GB inbuilt storage variant of the Xiaomi Poco F1 has been priced at Rs. 20,999 in India, while the 6GB RAM/ 128GB inbuilt storage variant is priced Rs. 23,999 and the 8GB RAM/ 256GB inbuilt storage variant costs Rs. 28,999. The special edition of the Poco F1 named Armoured Edition is priced at Rs. 29,999.

OnePlus 6 price in India starts from Rs. 34,999 for the 6GB RAM and 64GB storage variant, and the 8GB RAM and 128GB variant costs Rs. 39,999. The recently launched 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant priced at Rs. 43,999.

Asus ZenFone 5Z price in India is Rs. 29,999 for the 6GB RAM and 64GB storage variant, and its 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant is priced at Rs. 32,999. The high-end variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at Rs. 36,999.

The Honor Play with 4GB of RAM option priced at Rs 19,999 while the 6GB RAM variant costs Rs 23,999.
