Xiaomi’s new sub-brand already unveiled the Redmi Note 7 in China and the company is preparing for the Note 7 Pro. Now, the Xiaomi’s Mi Max 4 models have appeared online on Weibo and it has revealed the entire specs and pricing of the Mi Max 4. Besides this, the leak also contains information of the Mi Max 4 Pro. As you know, the Xiaomi’s Max series smartphones are known for large screens and batteries. The Mi Max 4 isn’t going to be any different.
Xiaomi Mi Max 4 Specifications
According to the leaked spec, the Mi Max 4 features a 7.2-inch display with a waterdrop notch. Under the hood, the device will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660.
There Mi Max 4 has 2 variants: 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, 6GB RAM/128GB storage. The device is expected to run on unannounced MIUI 11 out-of-the-box which is based on Android 9 Pie. Recently, a leak confirmed Xiaomi is working on MIUI 11. Coming to the cameras, the Mi Max 4 acquires dual cameras on the rear, and the arrangement of the camera will be same as the Redmi Note 7. There is a primary 48MP Samsung GM1 sensor. Up front, there will be a 20MP sensor.
As far as the battery capacity is concerned, the Mi Max 4 has a massive 5,800mAh battery with 18W Fast charging.
Talking about the pricing, the 64GB+4GB variant could cost RMB 1,599 (approx. Rs 17,000), and the 64GB+6GB variant could cost RMB 1,799 (approx. Rs 19,500). Then there will be a top-end variant with 128GB storage and 6GB RAM, which could be priced at RMB 1,999 (approx. Rs 21,500).
Xiaomi Mi Max 4 Pro Specifications
As per the leak, the Pro version of the Mi Max 4 is tipped to come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 SoC along with an under-screen fingerprint reader. The rear camera is expected to be a Sony IMX586 sensor with 48-megapixel sensor boasting 960 FPS slow-mo capabilities. Up front, there might be a 20-megapixel camera for selfies. There’s only one storage variant known for the Mi Max 4 Pro and that is a 4GB + 64GB version.
However, except above information, the leak does not reveal anything about the launch date. To recall, Xiaomi announced the Mi Mix 3 back in July last year.
