Xiaomi Mi Max 3 with 6.9-inch display, 5500mAh battery to launch in India soon

A Chinese mobile maker, Xiaomi is all ready to launch its next smartphone Mi Max 3 not only its home country but also available globally in the coming weeks. The company official tweeted in its Twitter handle on this Monday. However, there is no official confirmation, while this could also hint at the impending India launch of the Xiaomi Mi Max 3  considering its predecessor’s popularity. To recollect, the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 was launched in China back in July this year.

Pricing

The handset is available in two variants- 4GB RAM + 64GB storage priced at CNY 1699 (approximately Rs. 18,000) and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage CNY 1999 (approximately Rs. 21,100).     The phone is available in three colours- Black, Blue and Gold.

Specifications

The Xiaomi Mi Max 3 comes with a 6.9-inch FHD+ display bearing an aspect ratio of 18:9. It going to attract that who favour particularly large-screen displays. And the new handset dumped display notch thus bearing the 18:9 form-factor. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC with clock speeds of up to 1.8Ghz and Adreno 509 GPU. It includes 4/6GB of RAM and 64/128GB of internal storage.

For shutterbugs, the Mi Max 3 sports a dual rear setup- 12-megapixel + 5-megapixel with f/1.9 aperture, 1.4-micron pixel size. The camera comes with AI portrait mode, AI scene recognition. The front-facing camera is an 8-megapixel shooter with f/2.0 aperture, 1.12-micron pixel size.

For selfies, The selfie camera comes with AI portrait mode and AI beauty. The smartphone can shoot 4K video at 30fs.

There is a huge 5,500 mah battery under the hood, with support for Quick Charge 3.0. Coming to software, the handset runs on MIUI operating system.
