After teasing several highlighting features about the upcoming Mi CC9 Pro, the company has now announced a launch date. Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi will unveil the new Mi CC9 Pro smartphone with 108MP penta camera setup on November 5. However, no word on an India launch date yet. But, it is believed that this phone could come to the country soon enough.
Along with the Mi CC9 Pro smartphone, the company is also expected to launch the Xiaomi Mi Watch and Mi TV 5 series. Talking about the Xiaomi Mi Watch, it is likely to be a true smartwatch like Amazfit. It is reported to come with Apple watch like design that includes the square frame along with the crown on the side. The company’s teaser also hinted at a dedicated button on the right side below the crown. Unfortunately, there are no details on the Mi TV 5 series which is rumored to launch on the same day.
As we mentioned earlier, the main highlight of the phone will be its 108-megapixel primary camera on the rear. The render also confirmed that the device will feature a 5x optical zoom. In addition, the rear camera features a total of five cameras and two separate dual-LED flash units. The fifth sensor is likely to be a dedicated macro lens.
Xiaomi is using the 108-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL Bright HMX sensor. According to the previous reports, the handset will be fuelled by the Snapdragon 730G. Furthermore, a report from XDA Developers stated that this is only the second smartphone to feature a 108-megapixel sensor. Xiaomi is expected to launch four smartphones with this sensor in the coming months.
