Xiaomi‘s latest Android One series smartphone, the Mi A3 has been launched in Asia and some countries in Europe. While there has been no official word about the phones coming to India, a new rumor has surfaced claiming that the Mi A3 will be launching in India on August 23.
Sadly, the leak didn’t reveal the Mi A3 India price. It is speculated to be priced closely to the European pricing, The smartphone is currently selling at €250 (approx. Rs. 19,823) in Europe for the base variant. Thus, the handset is expected to be priced around Rs. 17,500 in India.
Xiaomi Mi A3 Specifications
The Xiaomi Mi A3 sports a 6.08-inch HD+ display with 19:9 aspect ratio and a resolution of 720×1520 pixels. There’s a teardrop notch on top of the display and Xiaomi also added a 2 Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on top. Powering the device is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 chipset which is an octa-core processor. The phone comes in two storage options- 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and 4GB RAM + 128GB storage. In addition, there’s a microSD card slot for storage expansion.
In terms of optics, it has a triple rear camera setup that comprises of a 48-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.79 lens, 8-megapixel secondary sensor with a 118-degree wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel tertiary sensor for depth sensing. On the front, we get to see a 32-megapixel shooter. The device runs Android 9 Pie out of the box and it’s backed by a 4030mAh battery.
Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
