Xiaomi Mi A3 Launched in India: Everything You Need To Know

The Xiaomi Mi A3 was unveiled in July in Spain, and the smartphone has made its debut in India. The phone is available from Amazon for Rs. 12,999, and comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The core details of the smartphone are already known given that most of the information has been officially revealed in the Spain launch itself.

Xiaomi Mi A3 Specifications

Talking about the specifications, Xiaomi Mi A3 features a 6.1-inch AMOLED HD+ screen of 720×1560 pixels resolution. Under the hood, the device is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 chipset paired with 4GB/6GB of RAM, 64GB/128GB of internal storage and Adreno 610 GPU.

In terms of optics, it has a triple camera setup on the rear that includes a 48-megapixel primary f/1.78 sensor, an 8-megapixel wide-angle (118 degrees) sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies, it has a 32-megapixel camera.

The Xiaomi Mi A3 also comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor for added security. It runs on Android 9 Pie and the company mentioned that the device will receive the Android Q update before the end of this year. Ticking all these is a 4030mAh battery with support for Quick Charge 3.0 and 18W fast charging via USB Type-C.In the box, it comes with a 10W charger. The handset also has an IR Blaster and 3.5mm audio jack.

Xiaomi Mi A3 Price in India and Availability

Coming to the pricing, Xiaomi Mi A3 is priced in India at Rs. 12,999 for the 4GB + 64GB variant while another variant with 6GB RAM + 128GB storage costs Rs. 15,999. The phone will be available in More than White, Kind of Grey, and Not just Blue colour options, starting August 23. The smartphone will be exclusively sold via Amazon in the country. One can buy Xiaomi Mi A3 starting August 23, at 12:00 PM from Amazon India.
