And now there is another explosion but not with the same brand. Now Xiaomi took the fair share of exploding phones. It is Xiaomi Mi A1 smartphone exploded as it was being charged, near the owner who was sleeping at the time.

According to the reports, The handset was on charging when the explosion occurred. The unit went up in flames but thankfully, the owner wasn’t hurt because the device was in a protective shell. The protective shell took the effect of the explosion. The phone was also not very close to the owner, perhaps on the nightstand. The complainant noted that they found the smartphone in an extremely damaged condition.
The incident was shared on the MIUI forum by a member who claims his friend’s Xiaomi Mi A1 exploded while charging. To support his allegation, he shared a testimony showing the damaged Mi A1. The device was a success globally which prompted the launch of the Mi A2 and A2 Lite a couple of months back.However ,this is the first reported case of an explosion of the model and shouldn’t be acause for all Mi A1 users to quit it.
There are may reasons behind the battery explode ranging from defective battery, bad charging adapter, charging pattern and others.As we don’t have ant details about the condition of the phone before the accident happened .We cannot assure that the phone as sign of panic . But the phone has reportedly been in use for 8 months and was left charging while he slept. From the story, this has been the routine practice. However, we can accurately say what caused it as only a thorough investigation can tell us that. The Xiaomi Mi A1 was launched in India in September last year, which means it has been on the market for over a year now.upto now there is no issues with the batteries inside the Mi A1, so it is highly unlikely that we will hear about another Mi A1 exploding anytime soon.Some cases of smartphones exploding have been reported for a very long time and does not mean that the affected smartphone has a major design problem that caused the explosion.
