Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro Set to Launch on This Date

Xiaomi is all set to unveil its Mi 9T Pro smartphone in the European market on August 20. To recall, the company launched the Mi 9T phone (a re-branded version of the Redmi K20) in the European market a few months ago. Now, the company has posted a teaser on its Xiaomi Netherlands Facebook page which shows the Mi 9T Pro will go official in the European market on August 20. However, there is no any information released by the company about its India launch.

The smartphone is already available for pre-orders in Netherland. It is expected to launch in two variants: 6 GB RAM + 64 GB storage and 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, that costs €429 (approx. Rs 34,209) and €479 (approx. Rs 38,196) respectively.

Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro Specifications

Specs-wise, the Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro is equipped with a 6.39-inch full HD+ AMOLED HDR display. It’s powered by a Snapdragon 855 7nm octa-core, paired with 6GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of storage. A 4000mAh capacity battery will fuel the phone, with 27W SonicCharge, a fast charging technology. The Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro runs MIUI 10 OS which is based on Android 9 Pie.

In terms of photography, the Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro sports a dual rear camera setup that comprises of 48 MP rear camera with Dual LED Flash, f/1.75 aperture, 1/2″ Sony IMX586 sensor, 0.8μm pixel size, 6P lens, an 8 MP secondary 1/4″ telephoto lens with 1.12μm pixel size, f/2.4 aperture, and a 13 MP 1/3″ 124.8° ultra-wide sensor, 1.12μm pixel size, f/2.4 aperture. Upfront, there is a 20 MP pop-up selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture.

Connectivity options on the device include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS (L1 + L2 Dual Band) + GLONASS, NFC, and USB Type-C.
