Xiaomi Mi 9 Price Details Leaked Ahead of Official Launch

Xiaomi is all set to launch a new flagship Mi 9, in China on February 20. Now ahead of the launch, pricing details of the smartphone have been leaked online.

A photo leak on Weibo by @New Technology shows price details of all Mi 9 variants. This leak confirms that the Xiaomi Mi 9 will be made available in China with starting price of 3299 (~$487) for the base model with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. In any case, more clarity on the Mi 9 pricing will be achieved once it launches in China on February 20, or if an official announcement is made in China before that.

• Base model with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage – ¥3299/~$487/~Rs.35000
• 8GB RAM + 128GB version – ¥3499/~$517/~Rs.37000
• 8GB RAM + 256GB version – ¥3699/~$547/~Rs.39000
• 8GB RAM + 256GB version transparent edition – ¥4999/~$739/~Rs.53000

If you convert directly from $487, the price of the Mi 9 in India for the base variant should be little under Rs 35,000. But that is not how the phones are priced in India, especially the phones that are not made in India. Moreover, we don’t think Xiaomi will launch Mi 9 in India considering Poco F2 is coming soon.

In the last few months, a number of details, images, and specs, related to the Xiaomi Mi 9 have been leaked and revealed almost everything about the device.
