The Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite is just a day away from going official, and we’ve received few details about the upcoming Mi 9 series phone. The Mi 9 Lite seems to be a rebranded version of the Mi CC9 smartphone which was launched in China earlier this year. The Mi 9 Lite device is already certified by Thailand’s NBTC which revealed that the phone has a similar model number to the Mi CC9.
The Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite will be unveiled on September 16 in Spain and as the date inches closer, a number of leaks around the smartphone have inundated the market.
According to reports, the phone will be supported by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC and it will pack a 4030mAh battery with an 18W fast charger. Furthermore, the smartphone will feature a 6.39-inch AMOLED FHD+ display with 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution. As you can see in the leaked image, the Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite will come equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor.
The triple-camera setup on the rear will include a 48-megapixel primary sensor, 13-megapixel wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, there will be a 32-megapixel selfie shooter with f/ 2.0 aperture housed inside the waterdrop notch. The leak suggests that it will come with MIUI 10 based on Android 9 Pie. The handset will also have NFC on board.
