Xiaomi is gearing up to launch its new Mi 11 series in the coming months. The new series is said to include Mi 11 Pro smartphone as well. Now, a fresh leak hints at what we can expect from the phone in terms of display and cameras.
As per the leaker Digital Chat Station, Mi 11 Pro will come equipped with some advanced settings to enhance the video and image quality. The leakster also shared the screenshot of the internal beta firmware of MIUI 12 that shows the support for MEMC, real-time SDR to HDR, and super-resolution that we’ve seen on OPPO’s Find X2 flagship series earlier.
The same tipster has given information about the phone’s camera in another Weibo post. The Mi 10 Pro will feature a camera setup at the back with a primary camera that is equivalent to about 50MP by 4-in-1 conversion, while the telephoto lens will be 12MP. He also mentioned that he is unsure if it is a straight 12MP lens or a 4-in-1 48MP lens.
A recent leak took the lid off the few key specifications of the device, claiming that the Mi 11 Pro will feature a display with QHD+ resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate. The phone will have curved edges and the screen will sport a punch-hole placed at the upper-left corner.
Going by the earlier leaks, Xiaomi Mi 11 and Mi 11 Pro are expected to be fuelled by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 SoC. Both the devices are tipped to ship with Android 11 OS out of the box. The Mi 11 is also said to feature a 48-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera sensor with a 0.8μm pixel size. Mi 11 is expected to arrive with support for 100W fast charging. On the other hand, Mi 11 Pro reportedly supports 120W fast charging.
For now, there are no details regarding the launch date of the Mi 11 series. There have been no confirmation from the company, but with leaks coming quickly, it is speculated that the series is already in the final stage of its development cycle, so, we can expect the launch very soon.
