Xiaomi Mi 10 series has been making rounds in the news from the last few months. Now, Xiaomi on Saturday announced the launch date for its most-hyped Mi series flagship. In a media invite, the company announced that it would unveil the new Mi 10 series on February 23. The teaser image also suggests optical zoom capability. It looks like the phone feature a multi-camera setup on the rear.
The Xiaomi Mi 10 series, which is touted to be an upgrade to Mi 9 series will include the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro smartphones. As per the recent report, the forthcoming Mi 10 series will be the world’s first phone to come with the LPDDR5 RAM module. LPDDR5 will reportedly boost the data access speed by 50 percent and reduces power consumption by 20 percent.
Talking about the specifications, the Xiaomi Mi 10 could feature a 6.57-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the device is expected to be powered by an octa-core 2.84GHz Snapdragon 865 SoC with 12GB of RAM, and up to 512GB of internal storage. The handset is said to offer a 4500mAh battery with quick charge support. As far as the cameras are concerned, the quad-camera setup on the back will include a 64MP primary camera, a 12MP, 8MP, and 2MP. Upfront, there will be 32MP + 8MP dual selfie camera. The device will in-display the fingerprint sensor.
The Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro, on the other hand, will also pack four cameras on the rear with a 108MP primary sensor, a 48MP camera, a 12MP sensor, and an 8MP camera. It reportedly packs a 4500mAh battery that supports 66W fast wired charging and 40W wireless charging.
As per the rumors, Mi 1o Pro 12GB RAM + 128GB, 12GB RAM + 256GB, and 12GB RAM + 512GB storage variants will be priced at 3799 Yuan (Rs 38,000), 4099 Yuan (Rs 41,000) and 4499 Yuan (Rs 45,000) respectively.
