Chinese electronic manufacturer, Xiaomi has launched the affordable fitness band called Mi Band 3i in India today. This comes as a successor to the Mi Band HRX launched in 2017. Here’s everything you need to know about the new Xiaomi Mi Band 3i.
Mi Smart Band 3i price in India and availability
Xiaomi launched the Mi Smart Band 3i in India with a price of Rs 1,299. The Mi Band 3i will be available on Mi.com and the company will start shipping it from December 10.
Mi Band 3i Specifications
The new Xiaomi Mi band 3i comes with a big display compared to the predecessor Mi band HRX. The Mi band 3i sports a 0.78-inch AMOLED display with touch support. To recall, the Mi Band HRX launched with 0.42-inch screen. It has a 110mAh battery and the company claims to offer up to 20 days backup on full charge.
Coming to the features of the new Mi Band 3i, the new band can track number of steps taken, distance walked, calories burned and more just like other Mi bands. You can also see app notifications from apps such as WhatsApp, Instagram, Text messages, incoming call alerts right on the band’s display. It also has a new “Find Device” option which lets you find the smartphone that is paired with the band. The band is also water-resistant up to 5ATM, which means you can wear it while in shower or swimming and it will keep on working. Unfortunately, there is no support for heart rate monitoring on the Mi Band 3i.
You can also get the weather forecast for the next 3 days, timely alarms and event reminders on this band. It connects via Bluetooth 4.2 BLE, and supports smartphones running on Android 4.4 and above and on phones running iOS 9 and above.
