In an announcement made recently, Xiaomi announced its global launch event will take place on October 4. Just a week before the event, Xiaomi announced that it will launch the Xiaomi 12T series. Also, Xiaomi is using the #200MPImagingSystem hashtag on social media, suggesting that the Xiaomi 12T Pro will feature Xiaomi’s 200MP camera technology.
It is expected that the Xiaomi 12T series will include two smartphones – the Xiaomi 12T and the Xiaomi 12T Pro. At the upcoming launch event, Xiaomi may also launch the Redmi Pad alongside the Xiaomi 12T series.
Xiaomi 12T Series Specifications
The Xiaomi 12T is expected to have an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8100 processor. On the other hand, the Pro variant might be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. According to reports, the Xiaomi 12T Pro will support 120W HyperCharge fast charging and will have a 5000mAh battery.
Xiaomi 12T lineup smartphones are expected to include a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, centered punch-hole notch, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It is rumored that the Xiaomi 12T Pro will feature a 1.5K resolution display. Meanwhile, the vanilla variant might feature a Full HD+ display.
Xiaomi 12T Pro is likely to be equipped with a 200MP camera sensor, while the vanilla variant will have a 108MP camera setup. It is said that Xiaomi 12T series phones offer a stereo speaker setup with Harman Kardon audio.
