Xiaomi’s next flagship series, 12S is slated to launch later this year. It will be the successor to Xiaomi 12 lineup. At the moment, Xiaomi has three devices in the 12 series: Xiaomi 12 Pro, Xiaomi 12, and Xiaomi 12X.
Earlier this month, the Xiaomi 12S Pro was confirmed by a Weibo post from a popular tipster and a few weeks ago, it appeared on 3C’s site revealing the charging speed. Now, the Xiaomi 12S smartphone has been found on the Geekbench which revealed the key specs of the device.
With a model number of “2206123SC”, Xiaomi’s upcoming 12S appeared on Geekbench. According to the listing, the phone will feature a recently launched Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, along with an Adreno 730 GPU.
In addition, the device has 12GB RAM. The company is likely to offer multiple storage and RAM options. In terms of software, the phone will run on Android 12, along with MIUI 13 out of the box. On the benchmarking test, the device scored 1328 on the single-core test and 4234 on the multi-core test.
Earlier, the device was seen on the 3C website confirming a 67W fast charging support, similar to the Xiaomi 12S Pro.
Moreover, Xiaomi 12S is rumoured to have a 120Hz AMOLED display, and a 50MP primary camera on the rear. Rumours suggest that the 12S series could feature Leica branding since the company recently announced a partnership with Leica.
