Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G confirmed to launch in India on September 29

Xiaomi has announced today that the Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G will be unveiled in India on September 29. This follows the official announcement of the phone yesterday globally alongside Xiaomi 11T series.

Xiaomi’s Global VP and MD, Manu Kuman Jain, announced the date of launch on his Twitter account. According to the company, the upcoming Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G smartphone will be the slimmest and lightest phone of 2021. It weighs only 158 grams and measures 6.81mm in thickness.

On Xiaomi India’s website, the microsite for the smartphone is now live. Additionally, the phone will be sold on Amazon, mi.com, and in offline stores.

Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G Price in India (Expected)

It is available at a price of EUR 349 (Rs 30,300) for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. A model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage costs EUR 399 (approximately Rs 34,600). In India, we can expect the phone to launch under Rs 30,000 price tag.

Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G Specifications

Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G flaunts a 6.55-inch full-HD+ 10-bit flat AMOLED true-colour display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Additionally, it supports Dolby Vision. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 778G SoC powers the smartphone, along with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. By using a microSD card, it can be expanded to 1TB.

There are also three cameras on the smartphone’s back. There is a 64-megapixel f/1.8 primary sensor, an 8-megapixel f/2.4 ultra-wide sensor, and a 5-megapixel f/2.4 macro sensor. Moreover, the device has a 20-megapixel front-facing camera.

Powered by a 4,250mAh battery, the device features 33W fast charging. The phone has 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, an IR blaster, and a USB Type-C port. A fingerprint reader is mounted on the side of the smartphone, and there are dual speakers onboard.
