Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G announced in India with Dolby Vision display, Snapdragon 778G

A new variant of the Mi 11 Lite has been launched in India by Xiaomi. Chinese brand Xiaomi released its latest 5G smartphone, Mi 11 Lite NE 5G with support for 12 5G bands in India and is the slimmest smartphone available at this price point. This device has the same specs as the 4G model, except for the processor and 5G support.

Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G price in India

Xiaomi has launched the 11 Lite NE 5G in India with two storage options – 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB. For Rs 26,999, you get the 6GB RAM model. The price of the 8GB RAM option is Rs 28,999. 

On the special Diwali sale period of October 2-7, you can buy the 6GB variant with a discount of Rs 2,000. Thus, the effective price will be Rs 23,499. This offer also applies to the 8GB RAM model, bringing the cost down to Rs 25,499.

There are four colours available – Diamond Dazzle, Tuscany Coral, Vynl Black, and Jazz Blue. Starting October 2, it will be available at Mi.com, Mi Home Stores, Amazon India, etc.

Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G Specifications

It comes with a 6.55-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1080 x 2400, 10-bit screen also supports a 90Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision, HDR10+ certification, and a punch-hole cutout.

It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor. It comes with up to 8GB of RAM. The handset is equipped with a 4,250 mAh battery and supports fast charging up to 33W. On the back, there are also three cameras: a 64MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 5MP tele-macro camera. There is a 20 MP front camera on the phone. 

It ships with Android 11-based MIUI 12.5 skin out of the box. The phone has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and face unlock as well.


During the event, Xiaomi also announced the Beard Trimmer 2. In India, it comes with a price tag of Rs 1,999. Among the features of the trimmer are 40 length settings, a Thermal Insulated Motor, an LED battery display, and a rotary dial for adjusting the blade. In addition, there is a USB Type-C charging slot. According to the manufacturer, it provides 12-minute cordless runtime with 5 minutes of charge time. A full charge of the Trimmer 2 takes about two hours and it runs for 90 minutes. It also has an IPX7 water resistance rating.
