WhatsApp Beta v2.18.218 Introduces Sticker Pack with Preview Feature

Popular messaging app WhatsApp will be adding sticker feature soon. As this stickers option available in other top messaging apps like Hike, Telegram, WeChat, Line, Skype Facebook Messenger, and others, WhatsApp working on it to release in future. WhatsApp announced that new update of stickers will be coming to the public in the past May, in the F8 developer conference of Facebook. But even after may users have not received any update regarding the stickers feature.

However, there is no confirmation on the sticker feature rollout date from official WhatsApp developers. But the stickers with the preview feature in the beta version screenshot is posted by WABetaInfo twitter handler and confirmed about the upcoming sticker store on WhatsApp.

Here is leaked screenshots of a sticker feature on WhatsApp on beta version v2.18.218.

As in the twitter info, there are three new sticker packs on the WhatsApp. The update will bring the app version up to 2.18.75. Since this feature is in beta version, so updating your WhatsApp will not give you the option to send stickers, as of now. From the officials, there is no release date confirmed yet.

The three sticker packs in the sticker store have the names Cuppy, Salty and Bibimbap Friends. When this feature is rolled out to the users, there will be a green dot on the + button, whenever there is a new sticker available in the WhatsApp Sticker Store.

As of now, the updated version WhatsApp Beta v2.18.216 got a new feature that lets you mute notifications without opening the app. The new Mute button lets users easily mute messages from a contact that has sent you more than 51 messages, without accessing WhatsApp.

At this time, there is no way to get or try out the sticker feature on WhatsApp. we’ll have to wait until the feature officially arrives either in the beta or public releases.
