Google recently launched their 3rd generation of flagship phone ‘Pixel 3’ and ‘Pixel 3 Xl’. While the Pixel 3 launched without any notch, another smartphone Pixel 3 XL launched with an ugly notch which boasts two front-facing camera sensors along with the speaker grille.
A wonderfully apt bug experienced by a small number of users manifests itself as an additional notch on the right side of the display. This bug has been experienced by a few of the popular tech YouTubers and some users as well. Several users and YouTubers posted pictures of the funny bug on Twitter. Jessie Burroughs, Kyle Gutschow, and UrAvgConsumer all experienced the same issue. And they have said that the secondary notch appeared randomly out-of-no-where, while many of them are confused and not sure whether this funny bug is related to screen orientation.

However, some of the users reported that the issue is gone after a restart or fiddling with the developer settings. Few Reddit users mentioned that just switching the device between portrait and landscape modes will make the second notch disappear when the screen refreshes. So, it is worth to mention that this is not a permanent problem.
There is no clue on how this weird issue is affecting a smartphone that has not been out in the market for even a month now. Talking about this issue, Android Police reported that tech giant Google has confirmed that they are aware of the this bug and that a fix is “coming soon.”
