Vu Premium 32 Smart TV with Linux OS launched in India

Vu has launched a 32-inch smart TV in India. It comes in a single 32-inch model and features a 64-bit quad-core processor, up to 500 nits of peak brightness, two 20W speakers and Dolby Audio support, DTS TruSurround audio technology. The latest VU TV runs on Linux operating system.

Vu Premium 32 Smart TV price in India, availability

Currently, Vu Premium 32 Smart TV is available in India for an introductory price of Rs. 12,999 and can be purchased on Flipkart. Additionally, Flipkart offers cashback on purchases made using select debit and credit cards. The Smart TV comes with a one-year domestic warranty from Vu.

Vu Premium 32 Smart TV specifications, features

Vu Premium 32 Smart TV has a 32-inch display with a screen resolution of 1,366×768 pixels, 178-degree viewing angle, 60Hz refresh rate, and up to 300 nits of brightness. It features a frameless design and boasts an Adaptive Contrast feature that enhances the details and contrast in on-screen pictures by darkening dark parts and lightening light areas. The new Vu smart TV uses a 64-bit quad-core processor as well as a Mali-470 GPU. The device comes with 1GB RAM and 4GB of built-in storage. It runs on Linux operating system.

VU’s new Premium 32 Smart TV includes 20W speakers with Dolby Audio support. It includes DTS TruSurround technology for ensuring a good surround sound experience from the speakers. The TV can be connected to external sound systems and additional devices can be connected via Audio Return Channel (ARC), optical, or Aux input. Additionally, the Smart TV offers Wi-Fi IEEE 802.11b/g/n with single-band 2.4GHz support, two USB ports, two HDMI ports, an AV input, and an audio jack.

It features an audio-only mode, so you can listen to music without seeing visuals. The Vu IR remote control includes OTT keys for quick access to Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video, YouTube Music, Browser, apps, and Internet browser. Furthermore, it supports DIAL from YouTube and Netflix so people can use their smartphones or tablets to launch media apps. Screen mirroring is also available with the support of Vu AnyView Cast. Users can also watch content in low light with the TV’s Cinema Night Mode.

Vu claims that it uses a micro-prism array and an LED to improve the brightness of the Vu Premium 32 Smart TV while ensuring minimum energy usage. It measures 717x428x86mm and weighs 3.6 kg without the stand.
