Vivo launched their new phone named Vivo Y97 in China. The company already made it available up for sale in China. The new Vivo features a waterdrop-shaped notch and a dual camera setup on the rear. It also comes with 3D micro-arc design with a unique mirror finish. The phone is available in three color options.

Vivo Y97 Specifications

Vivo Y97 features a 6.3-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 1080×2280 pixels and a waterdrop like a notch that enables 90.3 percent screen-to-body ratio. The device runs on the MediaTek Helio P60 octa-core processor coupled with 4GB RAM. The Vivo Y97 acquires the internal storage of 128GB and also has a the microSD card slot to expand the storage up to 256GB.

On the camera department, the Vivo Y97 comes with a dual camera setup: 16-megapixel sensor and another 2-megapixel depth sensing sensor on the rear. Up front, it holds a 16-megapixel front. Both the front and rear lenses support AI features, support facial unlock, and an IR sensor for low-light.

The device backs a 3,315mAh battery, and the dimensions measure at 155.97×75.63×8.1mm. Connectivity options include include USB Type-C port, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, 3.5mm sudio jack, and A-GPS support.

Coming to the pricing and availability, the Vivo Y97 is priced in China at CNY 1,998 (approximately Rs. 21,100), and the phone is available in Starry Night Black, Dream Powder (Pink), and Aurora Blue colour options. Company already made it available up for sale on their official website in China.
