Vivo Y93 with waterdrop notch and Helio P22 SoC launched in India

Vivo is in process of expanding its midrange smartphones in India to give a tough competition to the Xiaomi which already became a favourite brand in India. Now, the firm quietly launched dits latest midrange smartphone Vivo Y93 in the country. Back in November, the phone was launched in its home country featuring Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 SoC. However, In our country, the phone released with a MediaTek Helio P22 processor.

Pricing:

The new smartphone is launched with a price tag at Rs 13,990 in India. The Vivo Y93 is already up in Vivo India website where it also available in offline stores too. The smartphone comes in two colour options: Starry Night and Nebula Purple.

Specifications:

Speaking about the specifications, The new handset flaunts an almost bezel-free display with a waterdrop notch above the screen and a screen-to-body ratio of 88.6 per cent that features a 6.22-inch HD+ display. For security, the phone is backed by a fingerprint scanner. On the back, it sports an elegant two-tone smooth finishing.At the heart, The pone is armed by the MediaTek Helio P22 SoC, aided by 4GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable storage.

For imaging, the Vivo Y93 sports a 13-megapixel primary camera at the rear with f/2.2 aperture, aided by a 2-megapixel secondary snapper featuring f/2.4 aperture. The phone boast full of beauty filters as well as photography modes. For selfies, there’s an 8-megapixel camera with an aperture of f/1.8.It features a Face Wake, AI beautification, and AR stickers as well.

The phone ticks with a 4,030mAh battery, and it comes with connectivity options like 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and USB OTG support. On the software front, the device runs Android 8.1 Oreo wrapped under FuntouchOS 4.5. It also comes preloaded with Vivo’s AI assistant called Jovi.
