Vivo Y55 5G appeared on Geekbench with Dimensity 700 SoC, 8GB RAM

Recently, Vivo announced a number of new smartphones under its Y series including Y76, Y76s, and Y74 in select regions. There are also rumors that the Y55s will be launched very soon in China. Earlier this week, the specifications and design of the device were leaked. Now, it has been revealed that the Chinese smartphone brand is also working on Vivo Y55 5G. There is no word on when this device will be released. The Geekbench listing has leaked some key details about the handset. 

The Vivo Y55 5G is expected to be released in the near future. The handset is spotted on the Geekbench benchmarking site with the model number Vivo V2127. It will be powered by a MediaTek processor. The model number of the chipset is MT6833V/ZA, also known as the MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC. It will have at least 8GB of RAM. The phone might come with up to 5GB of virtual RAM.

The phone will come with Android 12 preinstalled with Funtouch OS 12 or Origin OS, depending on the region. The phone managed to score 430 in the single-core test and 1438 in the multi-core test.

The Geekbench website did not reveal any other specifications about the device. We’ll find out more details about the device soon.
