Vivo India has launched the Vivo Y51A smartphone in India. The Vivo Y51A is priced at Rs 17,990 for the single 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage variant. It will be available to buy in India on Vivo India E-store, Amazon, Flipkart, Paytm, Tatacliq, and across all partner retail stores. It comes in Titanium Sapphire and Crystal Symphony colors. As a part of the ‘Make in India’ initiative, the new Vivo Y51A is also manufactured at Vivo’s Greater Noida facility like all the recently launched Vivo smartphones.

It comes with 5G support and a 6.58-inch Full HD+ display with a screen resolution of 1080×2408 pixels. As mentioned, there are triple rear cameras rated at 48-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.79 lens, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.2 lens, 2-megapixel macro sensors with an f/2.4 lens. The front camera stands at 16-megapixel with f/2.0 aperture.

The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. It is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging and runs Funtouch OS 11 based on Android 11.

Additionally, there is support for a Bluetooth 5.0, 4G LTE, dual-SIM, GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou and USB Type-C port.  The device gets a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and comes with a microSD card slot that allows users to add up to 1TB of storage. The phone measures 163.86 x 75.32 x 8.38 mm and weighs 188 grams.
