Vivo Y51 to launch soon in India under Rs 20,000: Report

Vivo seems to be gearing up to launch the Vivo Y51 in India if information from MySmartPrice is to be believed. Even though no announcement has been made by Vivo, it looks like the launch is just around the corner as the device received BIS certification in India. We should know more details on this front in the coming days. 

Vivo Y51 Launch In India

The Vivo Y51 has already been announced in Pakistan for PKR36,999 (roughly Rs 16,346). The phone will reportedly be priced under Rs 20,000 in India. It comes in Mystic Black, Jazzy Blue, and Dreamy White colors.

Vivo Y51 Specifications

The Vivo Y51 sports a 6.38-inch full HD+ display with a resolution of 1080×2340 pixels. It features an in-display fingerprint scanner and has an Always-on Display mode. Riding the show underneath is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor, which is paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. The storage is further expandable up to 256GB memory via a microSD card. 

In terms of optics, the Vivo Y51 gets a quad-camera setup with 48-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.2 lens, two 2-megapixel sensors with f/2.4 lenses. Upfront, it features a 16-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture. It packs a 4500mAh battery capacity that supports 18W fast charging.

Additionally, the smartphone comes with Bluetooth 5.0, 4G LTE, dual-SIM, GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, and USB Type-C port. Software-wise, the phone ships with Android 10-based FunTouch OS 10 skin.
