Vivo Y50 set to launch in India on June 10: Specifications, features

Smartphone maker Vivo launched the Vivo Y50 in China in April. Now, the brand has decided to launch the Vivo Y50 in India. The Flipkart listing has confirmed that it will launch the Vivo Y50 in India on June 10. The page for the launch of the smartphone has already gone live on eCommerce site Flipkart.

Flipkart even revealed a bunch of specifications on its listing page. According to the listing the upcoming Vivo Y50 will have a 6.53-inch display with full HD+ 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution. It will be backed by Snapdragon 665 SoC paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The device will pack a 5,000mAh battery. On the rear, the phone will feature a quad-camera setup and a fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication.

To recall the specs, the Vivo Y50 launched in China with a 6.53-inch display with a Full HD+ resolution. It has a punch-hole selfie camera. Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon Snapdragon 665 SoC, it packs 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Fuelling the handset is a  5,000mAh battery that supports fast charging.

For photography, the Vivo Y50 comes equipped with a quad-camera setup at the rear that includes a 13-megapixel primary shooter, an 8-megapixel wide-angle shooter with 120 degrees field-of-view of, a 2-megapixel portrait shooter, and a 2-megapixel macro camera with 4cm focal length. Upfront, you get a 16-megapixel f/2.0 aperture lens.

The phone runs on Android 10 OS with FunTouch OS skin and the connectivity features on the device include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS. It measures 162.04  x 76.46 x 9.11mm and the weight is 197grams.
