Vivo Y30 5G announced with Dimensity 700 SoC, 50MP dual cameras

Vivo has launched its Y30 5G smartphone in Thailand. It features the Dimensity 700 chipset, a 5,000mAh battery, and dual 50-megapixel rear cameras. The Vivo Y30 5G appears to be a rebranded version of iQOO U5e smartphone that was launched in China. But, the iQOO U5e comes with support for 18W charging. Vivo Y30 5G is priced at THB 8,699 (approx. Rs 18,960) and will be available in Starlight Black and Rainbow Fantasy colours.

Vivo Y30 5G is equipped with a 6.51-inch IPS LCD display that offers an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels, a screen-to-body ratio of 89 percent, and a 20:9 aspect ratio.

The Vivo Y30 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset. It has 6 GB of RAM, 2 GB of extended RAM, 128 GB of internal memory, and microSD card support. 

The dual-rear camera module on the phone includes 50-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and an LED flash. Vivo Y30 5G comes with an 8-megapixel camera on the front. 

Software-wise, it ships with Android 12-based FunTouch OS 12. A 5,000mAh battery powers the device, which supports only 10W charging.

This device has a fingerprint scanner embedded in its power button. Additionally, the handset supports face unlocking.

Connectivity features include dual SIM, 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, a USB-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The device measures a thickness of 8.25mm and weighs around 193 grams.
