Vivo Y20 (2021) goes official with Mediatek Helio P35 SoC, 6GB RAM

Vivo has today officially launched its new Vivo Y20 (2021) smartphone in the Malaysian market, expanding the portfolio of Y-series smartphones. The Vivo Y20 (2021) comes in two color options — Dawn White and Nebula Blue. The lone 6GB/64GB storage model is priced at MYR 599 (approx Rs 10,900). There are no words on the launch of Vivo Y20 (2021) in other countries.

Vivo Y20 (2021) Specifications 

The Vivo Y20 (2021) smartphone features a 6.51-inch HD+ display that offers a 20:9 aspect ratio and 1600 x 720 pixels screen resolution. Under the hood, the device is powered by the MediaTek Helio P35 SoC, coupled with 6GB RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. The storage is further expandable up to 256GB through a dedicated microSD slot.

In the camera department, there’s a triple-camera setup on the back that includes a 13-megapixel primary lens with f/2.2 aperture, along with a 2-megapixel f/2.4 macro lens and a 2-megapixel f/2.4 bokeh camera. On the front side, there’s an 8-megapixel (f/1.8) snapper for taking selfies.

The Vivo Y20 (2021) has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for added protection. Running on Android 10-based FunTouch OS 11, the device is powered by a 5,000 mAh battery that offers 10W fast charging and also reverse charging.

Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, 4G, Glonass, and a Micro-USB port for charging the phone.
