Vivo recently launched its Vivo Y15, a mid-range budget smartphone in India with price starting Rs 17,990. Earlier many rumours suggested that this smartphone would be launched as Vivo Y5.
According to a new report by 91mobiles, Vivo is planning to launch another Y-series smartphone Vivo Y15, basically a lower version of Vivo Y17 and in a price bracket of Rs.10,000 – Rs.17,000. It is also expected that this upcoming Vivo Y15 may also have three cameras on the back, and may compete directly with the budget smartphones form Redmi and Samsung.
There’s no official confirmation, price, specifications of Vivo Y15 is not yet available for now. Company may soon reveal more about this smartphone soon.
Vivo Y17 Specifications
Vivo Y17 is featured with a 6.35-inch LCD HD + display with 19.3: 9 aspect ratio. It also got a waterdrop notch with 89% screen to body ratio. It is powered with Octa-Core Helio P35 processor and comes with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage on board.
Vivo Y17 sports triple cameras, 13MP primary camera, 8MP super wide-angle camera and a 2MP depth sensor camera. For selfies, it got a 20MP front camera which is inside the notch. It is also backed with 5000mAh battery which also supports fast charging and comes with connectivity options including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB, GPS, FM and 4G LTE.

Vivo Y17 runs Funtouch OS 9 skin on top along with Android 9 Pie and is available in Mineral Blue and Mystic Purple colour options.
