Vivo X80, X80 Pro and X80 Pro+ specifications REVEALED in a new leak

The X70 series was unveiled globally by Vivo in India back in September. The company is now working on the successor to the X70 series, as the specifications of the upcoming Vivo X80 series have been leaked on the Chinese microblogging platform Weibo.

Vivo X80, Vivo X80 Pro, and X80 Pro+ Specifications

In terms of display, the Vivo X80 boasts a 6.56-inch LTPO AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution while the Vivo X80 Pro and X80 Pro+ are expected to feature 6.78-inch LTPO 2.0 E5 AMOLED display panels with Full HD+ and Quad HD+ resolutions. All the Vivo X80 series devices are said to support a 120Hz refresh rate.

Both the Vivo X80 and Vivo X80 Pro will pack an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8000 and Dimensity 9000 processors, respectively. Meanwhile, the Vivo X80 Pro+ might be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. All three phones may come with UFS 3.1 storage. The vanilla Vivo X80 will have LPDDR4X RAM whereas the Pro devices might feature LPDDR5 storage.

It is reported that the vanilla Vivo X80 is equipped with a 50MP GN5 sensor, a 13MP sensor, and a 12MP Sony IMX663 sensor with 2X optical zoom. The Vivo X80 Pro might sport a quad-rear camera setup with a pair of 50MP JN1 sensors, alongside a 12MP Sony IMX663 sensor with 2X optical zoom and a 50MP JN1 sensor with 5x optical zoom. The X80 Pro+, on the other hand, boasts a 50MP + 48MP (Sony IMX598 sensor) + 50MP (JN1 sensor with 2X optical zoom) + 50MP (JN1 sensor with 5x optical zoom).

Both the Vivo X80 and Vivo X80 Pro may use a 44MP front-facing camera with auto-focus. On the other hand, the X80 Pro+ is likely to boast a 50MP front shooter. There is a 55W fast charging feature on the X80. Meanwhile, the Vivo X80 Pro and Pro+ support 66W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging. They will boot Android 12 out of the box and support NFC and WiFi 6 connectivity.
