Vivo has announced that it will launch the Vivo X70 series in India on September 30th, following the launch of the iQOO Z5 5G on September 27th. Vivo released its X70 series of smartphones earlier this month in China. The Vivo X70 Pro, Vivo X70 Pro+, and the vanilla Vivo X70 were all part of the series. Vivo is expected to launch only the Pro and Pro+ models under the X70 series in India.

The live stream of the launch event will be available on the company’s social media handles at 12 p.m on 30th September.

A Dimensity 1200-Vivo processor will be used in the Pro model that is packed on a vanilla X70 in China. According to the leak, the phone will have 8GB RAM, 4GB virtual RAM, and 256GB internal storage.

The entire series is expected to run on Android 11-based FunTouchOS 12. A recent leak suggests the Vivo X70 Pro+ 8GB + 256GB model could be priced at Rs 84,990. Although this retail price is listed on the box, you may find the actual price to be Rs 3,000 to Rs 5,000 less than what is listed.
