Vivo X50 5G has been making rounds in the news after the brand announced the launch date of the smartphone in a Weibo post. According to recent reports, the Vivo X50 series will be launching in home-country China on June 1.
Vivo took to Weibo and confirmed June 1, 2020, launch of Vivo X50 series smartphones. So, we can expect multiple smartphones in the launch event under the Vivo X50 series. The company also shared the teaser video that hints that the phone will have a gimble-like camera setup, which was first seen in Vivo Apex 2020.
In a separate post, a poster image of the upcoming Vivo X50 leaked online that shows both front and rear design. As per the leaked image spotted on Weibo, the Vivo X50 5G will come with a punch-hole design at the front. On the rear, there is a quad-camera setup aligned vertically. However, no official information has been given out on the matter yet.
Vivo recently unveiled the Vivo V19 smartphone in India that features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 octa-core SoC. It comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB internal storage. The phone boasts a 6.44-inch full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 1080×2400 pixels screen resolution and flaunts a dual punch-hole notched display design. There is also an in-display fingerprint reader on the device. The handset is backed by a 4,500mAh battery with support for up to 33W fast-charging.
In terms of optics, the rectangular quad-camera setup on the rear includes a combination of a 48-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.79 aperture, 8-megapixel wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture, 2-megapixel bokeh lens with f/2.4 aperture and a 2-megapixel macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture. On the front, there is a dual punch-hole selfie camera setup that comprises a 32 megapixels main shooter with f/2.0 aperture and an 8 megapixels 105 wide-angle lenses with f/2.2 aperture.
