Vivo X Fold official launch set for April 11, to feature ‘Folding Screen 2.0’

Vivo has officially announced the launch date for its first-ever foldable – the Vivo X Fold. The company is all set to launch its first Android tablet called Vivo Pad in the Chinese market on April 11. Along with the Vivo X Fold and Vivo Pad, the brand may also release the Vivo X Note in the Chinese market.

Vivo has published a video teaser on a Chinese microblogging site Weibo. In the teaser video, it is confirmed that the Vivo X Fold will launch in China on April 11th. 

Vivo X Fold Leaked Specifications

The Vivo X Fold is expected to feature a 6.53-inch Full HD+ OLED display panel and a punch-hole notch. A foldable tablet will be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. The device will be accompanied by a 4600mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging and 50W wireless charging.

Vivo X Fold is expected to be available in two configurations: 12GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB. According to previous leaks, the foldable device will be offered in three colour schemes – Crimson, Orange, and Blue.

Vivo X Note is also expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. Apart from this, we don’t know much about the Vivo X Note.

Vivo Pad Leaked Specifications

Vivo Pad likely to come with an 11-inch display with a 2.5k resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and Dolby Vision. It may be equipped with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor coupled with Adreno 650 GPU. According to the official launch teaser, the Vivo Pad will have dual rear cameras.

The Vivo Pad comes with a quad stereo speaker setup and a flat edge design. The phone reportedly comes with an 8040 mAh battery that supports 44W fast charging capability.
