Vivo Watch 2 unveiled with 14 days battery life

Vivo has launched its new smartwatch in China along with its new S12 and S12 Pro smartphones. The new Vivo Watch 2 is a successor to the Vivo Watch was announced in September.

Vivo Watch 2 is significantly improved over its predecessor and offers an OLED display, 5ATM water resistance, e-SIM support, SOS feature, and many other features. The Watch 2 comes only in 46mm size, unlike its predecessor. 

Vivo Watch 2 Price, Availability

Priced at RMB 1,299 (approx Rs 15,400), Vivo Watch 2 will go on sale from December 29 in China. You can choose from Silver Wing, Breaking Dawn, and Force Black colours. It is unclear when the wearable device will be available in India.

Vivo Watch 2 Specifications 

Vivo Watch 2 has a 46mm circular dial with a 1.43-inch OLED display with a 60Hz refresh rate support. It has a bezel-less design. On the right side, there are two physical buttons and the watch has a 316L stainless steel body. The watch will come with replaceable silicone straps of the watch. The watch has up to 5ATM water resistance, making it suitable for swimming.

With its SOS emergency mode, it sends out alerts to the fire services, police, or hospital even if it is not paired to your smartphone. Vivo Watch 2 boasts a battery life of up to 14 days with e-SIM turned off and 7 days with e-SIM turned on. A Watch 2 with an e-SIM lets users send and receive SMS and calls without connecting their smartphones. In addition, it supports Himalaya FM and Netease Cloud Music so users can stream music directly. It also has a built-in memory of 2GB for storing music.

There are 47 sport modes in the Watch 2, including running, walking, swimming, cycling, and more. It has a built-in GPS for outdoor activities. It can measure SpO2, heart rate, stress, and track sleep. Other features include a smart calendar, smart travel service, Jovi voice assistant, and smart home control, and NFC.
