A Chinese mobile maker, Vivo launched its latest mid-range smartphone Vivo V9 Pro with 6GB of RAM in our country. To recollect, the company announced its Vivo V11 Pro in India earlier this month. With in a little interval, the company geared up with its new V9 Pro version is exclusively available on Amazon India. And the new smartphone is the successor of Vivo V9 which is priced at Rs 22,990 back in March this year. Although being the Pro version the V9 Pro will be much cheaper than the V9.
With Vivo V9 Pro, Vivo is essentially trying to challenge smartphones like the Poco F1 from Xiaomi. Vivo is currently the third largest smartphone brand in India, but its market share is under threat from a growing market share of Xiaomi and Samsung. Vivo with some messed up launches is hoping to get its lost pride in the Android market through its new launch.
Vivo V9 Pro: Pricing
The new smartphone is priced at Rs. 17,990 in India. Where it is much cheaper than its previous Vivo V9 series phones. The new handset is available in Black colour options. As mentioned, it will be available exclusively on Amazon India. It will compete against the likes of Xiaomi Mi A2 and Nokia 7 Plus, which also have the Snapdragon 660 SoC.
Vivo V9 Pro: Specifications
Vivo V9 Pro almost sports identical features from the regular V9, Coming to design, It features aluminium unibody casing and thin bezel design at the front.
Speaking of specifications, It features a 6.3-inch LCD display with a resolution of 2280×1080 pixels, The phone has a notch design similar to the phones like the iPhone X and OnePlus 6.
Under the hood, The phone armed by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC coupled with 6GB of RAM and 64GB storage. This phone got a better improvement in the processor chip. On the camera front, Vivo has equipped the V9 Pro with a dual rear camera setup comprising of a 13-megapixel main camera and a 2-megapixel depth camera. At the front, there is a 12-megapixel selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture and support for 1080p video recording. Lastly, the Vivo V9 Pro packs a 3,260mAh battery.
