The launch date for the Vivo V25 in India has been revealed. The new Vivo smartphone is set to launch in India on September 15. The phone has already been launched in Thailand. This will be the second V25 series smartphone after the V25 Pro that was launched in India last month. The upcoming phone will have a colour-changing back panel. 
The V25 5G will go on sale exclusively on Flipkart. Featuring a Fluorite AG Glass back panel, the blue colour variant of the phone will change to a shade of turquoise once exposed to UV light. The company will also launch a black color option.
There is also a water-drop notch revealed in the teasers for the Indian variant. It will house a 50MP selfie shooter that will support eye autofocus. Vivo has also confirmed that the phone will feature 8GB of Extended RAM in addition to its 8GB of RAM. 
Initially, the phone will be available with 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB storage options. The base model will be priced at less than Rs 30,000. It will also feature a 6.44-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
An array of three cameras will be mounted on the back of the phone. It will have a 64MP main camera with optical image stabilization, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro camera.
It weighs 186 grams and measures 7.79mm thick. Powered by a 4500mAh battery, the device supports 44W fast charging out of the box. Additionally, a MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC will power the handset. Software-wise, it will ship with Android 12-based Funtouch OS 12.
