Vivo is preparing to launch the next device in its V-series. The V21 series was launched earlier this year in India and other markets. It also introduced the V23e recently in selected markets. Now, the company is likely to unveil the Vivo V23 lineup soon in India. It is not yet known when the V23 series will be officially launched in India. The series is likely to include V23 Pro which is likely to hit the Indian market in January. Now, the device has been spotted on benchmarking site Geekbench with key specifications.
The handset is listed on Geekbench with the model number V2132. Geekbench shows that the phone is powered by a MediaTek MT6893Z SoC (MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC). The octa-core chip is clocked at 3.0GHz and has four efficiency cores clocked at 2.0GHz.
The variant tested on the benchmarking site has 8GB of RAM and runs Android 12 OS. The device is expected to have more RAM and storage options as well. The phone runs either Funtouch OS 12 or Origin OS Ocean depending on the region. According to Geekbench, the phone scored 679 points in its single-core test and 2707 points in its multi-core test.
Reports recently claimed that the device would come with a 64MP rear camera. There is no other information about the other specs of the device at this time. According to reports, the phone will launch on January 4, so more information will be available on the web soon.
