Vivo has launched the Vivo V23 5G and Vivo V23 Pro 5G smartphones in India. Both the new Vivo V-series devices feature AMOLED display, MediaTek Dimensity 5G processors, triple-rear cameras, and 44W fast charging. 
Vivo V23 5G and Vivo V23 Pro 5G Price in India, Availability
The 8GB + 128GB variant of the Vivo V23 5G is priced at Rs. 29,990 while the 12GB + 256GB variant costs Rs. 34,990. Vivo V23 Pro 5G, on the other hand, costs Rs. 38,990 for the 8GB + 128GB model and Rs. 43,990 for the 12GB + 256GB model.
These smartphones are already available for pre-order. Starting on January 13th, Vivo V23 Pro will be available for purchase. Meanwhile, the Vivo V23 5G go on sale on January 19th via Flipkart. Vivo V23 series phones come in two color variants – Sunshine Gold and Stardust Black.
As part of the launch offer, Vivo is providing 6 months of Complete Mobile protection (accidental damage protection) for all purchases made through Flipkart or offline stores. ICICI Bank customers can avail of a flat 10% cashback on the offline market on Vivo V23 series,
Vivo V23 5G Specifications
Vivo V23 sports a 6.44-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with 2400×1080 pixel resolution, support for a 90Hz refresh rate, HDR10, and an in-display fingerprint scanner. Vivo V23 has a notch at the top of the display that accommodates dual front shooters in addition to a dual-tone spotlight (flashlight).
The V23 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 920 processor which is built on a 6nm fabrication process. It is paired with Mali G68 GPU, 8GB/12GB of RAM, 128GB/256GB storage, and 4GB of Virtual RAM.
In terms of the camera, the handset comes with a triple rear camera setup and LED flash. The setup includes a 64MP sensor with an f/1.89 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with an f/2.2 aperture, and a 2MP macro lens with an f/2.4 aperture.
It has a dual front camera setup with a dual-tone flash. There is a 44MP primary sensor with an f/2.0 aperture paired with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and an f/2.28 aperture.
The V23 comes with a 4200mAh battery that can be charged through 44W fast charging support. It does not have a 3.5mm audio jack, so audio is handled by the Type-C port. It measures 157.20 x 72.42 ×7.39mm and weighs 179 grams. With the Vivo V23 Pro 5G, you’ll get a 6.56-inch FHD+ Curved AMOLED display with 2376 × 1080 pixel resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, and an optical in-display fingerprint scanner.
Talking about the cameras, the triple rear camera of the phone has a 108MP sensor with an f/1.88 aperture aided with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens (f/2.2) with a 119° field of view and a 2MP macro sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. Dual front-facing cameras are housed in the notch on the display. The primary front shooter on the device is a 50MP sensor with an f/2.0 aperture coupled with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with a 105° field of view along with a dual-tone flash.
Powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1200 processor, built on a 6nm process, the phone packs Mali G77 GPU, 8GB/12GB of RAM, 128GB/256GB storage, and the extended RAM 2.0 feature with 4GB of virtual RAM.
The V23 Pro has a 4,300mAh battery and 44W fast charging. Just like the vanilla V23, the Pro model does not include a 3.5mm audio jack. Connectivity options include dual-Sim, 5G, 4G, Dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and NavIC. It measures 159.46 x 73.27 × 7.36mm and weighs 171 grams.
