We already know that Samsung is going to announce Galaxy S10 series on February 20 and now, a Chinese smartphone maker Vivo set to announce a new smartphone in India on same day.
91Mobiles revealed a official promotional image that shows the upcoming Vivo smartphone along with its key specs listed beside it. To recall, the first leaked promotional poster was also from 91Mobiles.
According to the leaked poster, the upcoming Vivo V15 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 675 processor, which confirms this isn’t a flagship device. The Snapdragon 675 was announced last year and is yet to appear in any device. The Redmi Note 7 Pro is also rumored to come with the same chipset. Moreover, Meizu Note 9 is also likely to feature the SD 675 chipset.
The Snapdragon 675 is an 11nm octa-core processor with 8 Kryo 460 cores clocked at 2.0GHz. The SoC will be paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage but we expect it to launch with other configurations too.
Furthermore, the poster reveals the Vivo V15 Pro will have an in-display fingerprint scanner and a Super AMOLED display. Unlike the Vivo NEX, the Vivo V15 Pro will have the selfie camera that slides out from the right.
Moving on to the camera department, 91Mobiles report claims that the V15 Pro will be capable of producing images with 48-megapixel resolution. Interestingly the device will be capturing images in 12MP resolution and will make use of the pixel binning technology to capture 48MP images.
It’s believed that pre-orders will begin on February 15 with sales starting on the February 20th. Vivo V15 Pro price is expected to be Rs. 25,000.
